I support the building of casinos in Wyandotte County. However, I believe that they should use their own money to build the facilities. I paid for my house and got a mortgage and paid taxes. When the Casinos were proposed they were supposed to use their own money. Now we find that they have snuck in the back door and are using tax dollars to fund the development of casinos. This is poor public policy.

Dennis Hays has issued so much debt that Wyandotte County will never pay for the costs of these crazy developments. The poor people get stuck with the bills and the rich people take the money to Florida and Las Vegas. Hays and the big boys at city hall just keep taking the public deeper and deeper into debt and laughing all the way to the bank.

Wyandotte County is losing population, losing qualified homeowners and losing the educated class of people that make a city viable. There is nothing but poor people left with a few rich kings. And that is the way the politicians like it. Wake up KCK
