Tax Revenue drops for WYCO & The City of KCK after raise?
Mayor Reardon and Dennis Hays planned the biggest tax increase in the Unified Government history to get more money to pay the Hays family while they lay off other people. Dennis Hays and Joe Reardon moved to a new neighborhood with discounted houses built with taxpayer subsidies.
To raise the money Reardon and Hays raised sales taxes on milk, bread and basic services for all taxpayers to pay for their luxury. Hays gets over 350K in salary and benefits from the UG while your family suffers.
The latest reports from the State of Kansas indicate that the plan has backfired and will spell the demise of Wyandotte County. The actual sales tax collections were DOWN for July 2010, down over 13%. The tax increase that the UG conned taxpayers into was double trouble after the UG raised property taxes and screwed the poor even worse.
Dear Taxpayers, as always, great ideas from our City backfire again! Joe Reardon's answer was to tuck his tail and move out of his taxpayer-subsidized house and move to a new neighborhood with a huge discounted house. Fraud is a family tradition and politically screwing taxpayers is held in high esteem. One can only hope that the crooks enjoy their luxury at the expense of the poor and down trodden.
We wish they were looking through steel bars with a jar of vaseline in their back pocket. That may come soon enough.
