The Birth of a Water Park!!

Fixin a deal - KCK Style

Three contractors are bidding to build a Water Park in Wyandotte County;
One from Texas, one from Tennessee , and a third from Kentucky .

They all go with Dennis Hays to examine the Park.

The Tennessee contractor takes out a tape measure and does some
measuring, then works some figures with a pencil.
'Well', he says, 'I figure the job will run about $90 million: $40 million for
materials, $40 million for my crew and $10 million profit for me.'

The Kentucky contractor also does some measuring and figuring, then
says, 'I can do this job for ! ! $85 million: $40 million for materials, $40 million for my
crew and $5 million profit for me.'

The Texas contractor doesn't measure or figure, but leans over to
the City official and whispers, "$485 million."

Dennis Hays incredulous, whispers back, 'You didn't even measure like
the other guys! How did you come up with such a high figure?'

The Texas contractor whispers back, '$200 million for me, $200 million for you and other corrupt city officials,
and we hire that guy from Kentucky to build the water park.'

'Done!' replies our government official.

And that my friends, is how we got Schlitterbahn! ! !

TWIST ;;;; The State refused further funding -- No more Star Bond funding -- Stock market funding is dead????
-------------- Hays is pushing for General Obligation Bonds from US taxpayers - Funding will come from more taxes?

Hays and Company is doing everything it can to get that promised money.
