Thomas (TJ) Reardon
I, Thomas J Reardon, was born to parents Valda M. and Earl C. Reardon both from the South Side and I grew up on the South Side of Kansas City, Kansas – Wyandotte County. My Father Earl (Hick) Reardon was a Restaurant owner and he and his Cousin Joe Reardon (Father to Departed Mayor) Jack Reardon where always in KCK politics. Joe Reardon was the Street Commissioner and my Father Hick was on the Kaw Valley Drainage Board. I was Brother to a Beautiful Sister Mary Kay Reardon who died her senior year at Ward High School and two Brothers - KCK Sports figures Ray (Beans) Reardon (KCK Fireman) and Jim Reardon local talented artist all from the South Side.
The South Side!
The South Side an older community that has been forgot about in the Great Plan for KCK. We South Siders don’t have the fancy new houses, shopping malls, luxury grocery stores or many of the amenities but we still pay high taxes for all others amenities.
South Siders, as I have taken the liberty to call all us, live - South of the Kansas River, South of the Rail Road tracks in Armourdale and South of Kansas Avenue West to 4-35 in Muncie.
South Side - State and US Elected Officials!
We as a collective group have done a great job electing State Candidates who have fought hard for us. These State Candidates deserve your votes and your lasting friendship for years to come. Our State Elected people that all of you South Siders have gone out of your way to elect are: Chris Stienagar (Senate) Bonnie Sharp (House) Stan Frownfelter (House) Louis Ruis (House) Tom Burroughs (House) and last but not least US Congress Dennis Moore all these people have been good hard working politicians for all us living on the South Side.
