The shame of these people to have dinners like this and drink wine this expensive while we struggle to pay bills and taxes imposed upon us, by them, so they can live it up?
You would never believe it but this goes on right here
in Kansas City Kansas? A friend of Don Gray just told me a wine story involving
Don Gray. One would think that after just escaping the Grand Jury probe by having
friends in high places that this man in charge of the BPU would commit a crime.
Mr. Gray violated K.S.A 21-3910 misuse of public funds, as told by a friend,
Gray while traveling on ratepayers money to another AWWA conference for several
days bought a case of wine, expensive wine, 12 full bottles and brought it back
to KCK. Is this illegal to attend a conference with our money, debatable, buying
an expensive case of wine on the BPU credit card? Gray does share, as the story
goes, he gave a bottle to the board members violating K.S.A 21-3901 Bribery.
Bribery is: Giving reward or consideration directly or indirectly to a public
officer or public employee.
It is hard to believe that these people could have the guts or stupidity to
try these scams on us poor people who are starving so they can party?
Question is will Grays friend DA Jerry Gorman just
sweep this again under the carpet? TJ

Shafer Cabernet "Hillside Select" 2003 can go for as much as $500
a bottle.
(CNN) – The global economy may be undergoing a significant downturn, but the White House's dinner budget still appears flush with cash.
After all, world leaders who are in town to discuss the economic crisis are
set to dine in style Friday night while sipping wine listed at nearly $500 a
bottle.
According to the White House, tonight's dinner to kick off the G-20 summit includes
such dishes as "Fruitwood-smoked Quail," "Thyme-roasted Rack
of Lamb," and "Tomato, Fennel and Eggplant Fondue Chanterelle Jus."
To wash it all down, world leaders will be served Shafer Cabernet "Hillside
Select" 2003, a wine that sells at $499 on Wine.com.
The exceedingly pricey wine may seem a bit peculiar given leaders are in Washington
to discuss a possible world financial meltdown, but Sally McDonough, a spokeswoman
for Laura Bush, said it "was the most appropriate wine that we had in the
White House wine cellar for such a gathering.
McDonough also said the White House purchased the wine at a "significantly
lower price" than what it is listed at.
"Of course the White House gets its wine at wholesale prices," she
said. "Given the intimate size of the group, it was an appropriate time
for The White House to use this stock."
The leaders of the U.K., France, Russia, China, India, Brazil, Saudi Arabia,
South Africa, Turkey and 11 developing economies have all come to Washington
at the behest of President Bush in an effort to express confidence in the fundamental
underpinnings of the world's economy.
